Our team uses FIGMA, which is a digital design and UX prototyping tool. It is primarily web-based, with additional offline features enabled by desktop applications for macOS and Windows. We use it primarily because of three of its capabilities.
- Design – Simple layout with intuitive tools
- Prototyping – High fidelity mock ups for user testing and visualizing design
- Collaboration – Multiple users can work on the same design simultaneously and it provides CSS codes to any of the design elements
Because the app is cloud based with real-time saving function, we have one single source of truth for all our designs. It is an integral tool for our design process and allows cross functional collaboration across all teams.
